My published research focuses on entrepreneurship, firm dynamics, and macroeconomics in both official and nontraditional (private sector) data.
I am the Chief of the Industrial Output Section at the Federal Reserve Board. Other past and present internal Board responsibilities have included serving as a Special Adviser to Governor Adriana Kugler; coordinating the staff GDP forecast; tracking the industrial sector especially motor vehicles, aircraft, and oil & gas; and working on various small/new business and nontraditional data projects.
I am also a member of the Conference on Research in Income and Wealth (CRIW), a Special Sworn Status (SSS) researcher at the U.S. Census Bureau, and a T1D dad. I grew up in western Colorado.
